Kushwaha is a community of the Indian subcontinent, which has traditionally been involved in agriculture and marketing of agriculture produce. The term is being used to represent at least four sub-castes, namely Kachhis, Kachwahas, Koeris and Muraos.

Gautam Buddha and Samrat Ashoka are ideals and ancestors of Kushwaha community.
